Welcome to my page! My name is Tommy Erbe. I live in Chicago, Illinois, with my wife, Anna. I am a college graduate and full-time worker whose biggest passion is watching and communicating about sports.
I was born. in Elk Grove, Illinois, and lived in Roselle until my dad was transferred to Atlanta, Georgia, when I was four years old. While I grew up down there, I maintained my love and admiration for the city of Chicago. I always envisioned being able to come back to Chicago as soon as I could. I was given that opportunity in 2017, and I continue to live out that dream today.

I graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a degree in Communications in December of 2025. My path to graduating from college was not conventional by any means. It took a couple of attempts, tons of late nights, and perseverance to keep pushing through while maintaining a full-time job.
I have worked at the same high-volume law firm since I moved back to Chicago. My positions have included paralegal and accounting responsibilities. Currently, I serve as an administrative technician, collecting and analyzing data on production. What I like to do in my free time depends on the season. When it’s warm, I love going to Cubs games, playing golf, and sitting by the lake. When it’s cold, I like to take walks and eat chili. If the day ends in “day,” I like watching all the sports balls.

I met my wife, Anna, at Sluggers in Wrigleyville one winter night. I originally told her I was a former MVP and World Series Champion, Kris Bryant. While our relationship started in a lie, I weezled my way into convincing her to marry me. We had one heck of a party on April 1st, 2023.
Anna and I are season ticket holders for the Chicago Cubs. She has Pittsburgh roots, so that is the limit to her Chicago fandom. As for me, I am a diehard for this city. I love the Cubs, Bears, Blackhawks, and Bulls, and want nothing more than to see all of them bring championships to this great city, home to the best fans in the world. If I had to pick only one to love, I couldn’t do it.
I hope to be able to use my education and continue my pursuit of opportunities in sports media.
